In a well-planned community, the comfort and enjoyment of the citizens and visitors is important. Industrial areas and certain business establishments can interrupt the harmony of residential areas.
Following the Koror State Zoning Law, the Koror Planning Commission regulates the location and use of buildings, the use of lands, the height of structures, and areas for open spaces. For these purposes the state is divided into different zones.

There are suppose to be 9 members but now there are only 6 of them, and we are waiting for new appointments. There are 2 Regular Meeting for its month (this is on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, and there are around 2 to 3 special meetings that goes along with the regular meeting). Items that needs KPC’s attention shall be completed and ready for their review at least 3 days prior to each meeting.
